Two students at Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU), Mr. Muriisa Gideon and Mr. Okodo Sam, are vying for the position of guild president. Both students are studying in the Bachelor of Public Administration and Management program.
Students were given a sneak peek at the manifestos of the two candidates, which detailed their goals for enhancing UTAMU student life. Plans to support extracurricular activities, host a freshers ball, help students connect with employers, enhance the way classes are taught and exams are scheduled, and guarantee that students can access guild leaders are just a few of their manifestos.
The candidates are currently waiting for students to cast their ballots on November 2, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the UTAMU Main Campus in Kungu.
