KAMPALA — The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has instructed schools to display the 2025 candidates’ registers for public inspection from August 10 to October 10, 2025.

UNEB Executive Director Dan Odongo urged heads of centres, candidates, and parents to carefully review the registers to confirm the accuracy of candidate information. “It is the responsibility of everyone involved to critically check and verify the data submitted,” he said.

The exercise is intended to ensure that details such as index numbers, names, dates of birth, gender, photographs, and registered subjects are correct. Odongo emphasized that verification is crucial to avoid errors before the examinations.

Parents are encouraged to examine the registers and report any discrepancies to UNEB within the specified period. Additionally, candidates can confirm their registration status via SMS by sending “Reg.” followed by their full index number to 6600.

Odongo praised candidates, parents, and educators for their cooperation during the registration process and wished them success in their upcoming exams.
